My story

I have been out of university for 12 months and have worked in companies for 15 months. Even though I graduated with a degree in business administration, my job has nothing to do with the profession I studied. I only dealt with paperwork and records for customers without having the opportunity to apply any of the management or marketing knowledge I had learned at work. In contrast to me, some of my friends work in positions that apply exactly what they have learned combined with their thinking, for example working in the sales or marketing department at a company. there. I realized that I wasn't paying attention to my studies so I couldn't apply for such positions, leading to working in the wrong field of study. So why am I not focusing on the field of study I have chosen?
That's because I don't feel interested in studying business administration, I just like to explore and discover things related to machines and technology. Choosing a major that is not in line with my interests has made studying boring and tiring for me, and that leads to the two most obvious consequences. Firstly, I am not qualified enough to pursue a job in line with my field of study. And second, I had to work in another field that I had no knowledge of. What's sadder is that if my current job doesn't suit my interests, going to work every day will be very tiring and I won't have any motivation to continue. Even choosing the wrong major can make you lose the talents you previously had. Therefore, when choosing a major, everyone should respect themselves first, should not follow the majority or other people's opinions, but believe in their own passion and ability.

Hopefully my own story can help you realize what is best for you.
