Monitoring Network Traffic: Continuously analyzing network traffic patterns using monitoring tools like Kibana, ElasticSearch, and Grafana to detect and mitigate potential DDoS attacks. Incident Response: Responding to and managing DDoS attack incidents, implementing countermeasures, and ensuring minimal disruption to client services. Database Management: Maintaining and managing databases that store traffic data, attack patterns, and mitigation strategies. Network Configuration: Configuring and managing network devices, firewalls, and routers to optimize performance and security. Scripting and Automation: Writing and maintaining scripts (in Python) to automate monitoring and mitigation tasks. Client Support: Providing support to clients, helping them understand and implement DDoS protection measures. Reporting and Documentation: Generating reports on network performance, attack incidents, and mitigation effectiveness. Documenting procedures and best practices. Research and Development: Staying updated with the latest DDoS attack vectors and mitigation techniques, and developing new strategies to combat emerging threats.
